I don't know about all of you, but I am just reading one thing after another. I keep forgetting what I've read. I recommend it to a student and then forget I read it... Kind of embarrassing-- I read a book told a kid about it and about a week later…

I just finished Multiple Blessings by Kate Gosselin. It was all about the Jon & Kate plus 8 family. It was great to read more about them. I also read Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson. That was so intense. It was all about a girl who is battling…

I'm reading Breaking Dawn right now. I'm almost half way through. I also read Wake and All we know of heaven. All we know of heaven is sad but I liked it. I'm also reading The Catcher in the Rye for Ms. Schiff's class.

One crazy summer for reading

I have been reading a lot this summer, but when I think back it is hard to really remember any of it. I hope it isn't a sign of old age (LOL). Some books that have stood out for me include:
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Sickened: a memoir, Get Well Soon, Tips on Having a Gay (ex) Boyfriend, and Freak Show by James St. James was a treat.

The biggest disappointment was Gail Giles' newest release, Right Behind You. After reading Shattering Glass, What Happened to Cass McBride?, and Playing… Continue

Would you really read it? Thank you. But first I'm going to rewrite a couple sentences. I like to let friends who aren't afraid to say what they really think and have them read it so they can tell me what's up. Some of the sentences are apparentlt awkward (I heard that TWICE! at differen't times! it must be true! and I think I noticed it too...). But if you could look at it, I would appreciate your opinion. One of my friends said it was too short. Can short stories be too short? It kind of like a long poem....this usually isn't a problem for me. I'm kind of a lengthy writer usually (you may have guessed this by my long comments.....). Or is it called, then, if it is short.....um, a snipet? That thing that starts with a 'v'?

This summer I tried to reread Wicked but too caught up in Kamikaze Girls, Interview with a Vampire.....which got rudely interrupted when I began my obsession after going to Another Look Books (A used book store in Michigan) and buying all the books by Vicci Thompson. Books like Nerd in Shining Armor, and the Nerd Who Loved Me, and Nerd Gone Wild. I must admit, they are a bit....um.....well, not insanely so, but they are romance books (don't hit me >.<. So I like Romance books? Eh? So what, they rock!) but they are very funny and entertaining, especially Nerd in Shining Armor. I think having a Nerd as the hero and male romantic lead is fun!

But I am also trying to read Twilight and the Harry Potter books......but.....sigh, it only we could stop time so we could read...
